My dryer is taking 2 cycle to completely dry large loads or towels. I'm guessing this wouldn't be the heating element since it is getting hot, just not hot enough it looks like. Where should I begin. Thanks in advance for your help.

I just checked the resistance of all thermostats and elements. All read 0. shouldn't the element have some resistance?

Disregard that last part about the element. I changed the setting to Rx10 and it read about 14.

If all elements and thermostats, etc are reading correct.I would also check the vent that goes from the dryer to outside? If it is blocked up with lent or something it will also cause it to take longer to heat.

Pull off the ducting from the dryer, jam a thermometer there and check the temperature with no clothes in the dryer, temperature should rapidly go up to around 145 degrees on the normal setting. If not, you have a burnt wire or a bad cycling thermostat.
