Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 12/31/2009(UTC) Posts: 1		My Maytag Performa washer has been a big disappointment. The latest issue is it make a very loud (like a gun shot) noise in between cycles. It doesn't do is all the time, but most of the time. Any ideas as to what may be causing?

That is what I suggest you do, and here is a service manual which may help. Pay attention to the suspension and brake areas. http://www.servicematters.com/m...ibrary/docs/16023083.pdf
