Good day. So I have been noticing my Maytag dryer taking longer and longer to dry a large load. In fact many times at the end of the cycle, the load is still damp and i have to start a whole new cycle to get it completely dry. Sometimes taking over 4 hours to dry a complete large load. The dryer is about 1.5 years old. I have already cleaned out the vent pipe from the dryer to the wall. I also cleaned out the piping withing the wall to the roof and made sure the escape flap in the roof is clean. I also removed the front cover and vacuumed all around and also removed the lint screen holder and vacuumed everywhere I can get too. What else can I do before I call service? We do have several floor rugs stored on top of the dryer, would this cause problems in drying? They have been there since day one. Just thinking of things... I do feel the cloths hot when I open the door at the end of a cycle but at times still damp. Any help or info greatly appreciated. Thanks and Happy New Year

If I understand correctly you want for me to unhook the dryer pipe from the dryer and turn it on to see if I feel good airflow? If this is what you mean then I can also check the roof pipe exit after to make sure I feel the same airflow. Please let me know and thanks again
