My ge dishwasher will not completely drain after cycle is completed. I see the water coming from the dishwasher into the sink drain but there is a about two inches of water left in the bottom of the tub and i am getting sick of draining it out by hand please help.

Here are your parts, I used the 00SS Replacement parts for GSD5560SS models | AppliancePartsPros.comFirst check that the wash/drain solenoid (left hand side of the pump assembly) is operating correctly, pulling all the way down. Next check that the drain hose is clear of debris, especially where it attaches to the house plumbing, stuff likes to catch and build up here.. Next and the most likely but hardest to check is the Piston & Nut (Item 564 in Section 2). It is under the cover at the back of the machine. Also it unscrews. Remove it and check it, if it does not seal correctly replace it. |
