Washer runs until rinse cycle then stops with error codes mostly F11, sometimes DL. Door will not open. I just keep pausing then trying to restart and after multiple attempts it usually restarts. Changed the control panel and the pump but problem still occurs. Is this a door latch problem? Thank you for help, I have spent quite a bit on parts with no success in fixing the problem so hope that you can tell me what is really wrong!

It is very hard to diagnose a problem like yours on the Duet because the error codes are just not specific enough to pinpoint the problem. I suspect your door lock mechanism is the problem, but first check to see that the wiring between the control unit and the door lock does not have a break, frayed area or short, and do the same with the wires between the control unit and the motor control unit. If it all checks out you can replace the door lock mechanism and see if that helps, but you MCU might also be at fault. This is why the truck the service tech brings to your house is full of these parts, so the tech can just keep changing out until it is fixed. Unfortunately you cannot do that without incurring substantial expense, which you already have. Here is a service manual which will have some info on checking components, but in the end you may just have to change out and hope that fixes it. https://secured.whirlpoo...ILE/Duet%20Job%20Aid.pdf

The symptoms are pretty specific for the F11 code on the Whirlpool Duet front loaders and clones (Kenmore Elite and KitchenAid):
If the washer starts to fill but the drum NEVER moves, your MCU is bad
If the washer runs through most of a cycle and then gives the F11 before (or during) a rinse or spin cycle, then you have the CCU relay problem.
If you are interested in having me repair your CCU for you, I offer that service on "e bay" (website coming soon). My username there is "jhagner"
Thanks
