Our Bosch DW SHX46A05UC/30 stopped working just a few months after warranty period. On starting a cycle, it fills with water and just stops after that. If you press cancel and drain, it will drain all the water no problems. Test program indicates there is heater problems (LED C blinks).
I read somewhere that it could be a bad solder on the control board, is it true for this model also. I got to open the door and get to the control board, but could not open the control board itself to see if it is a solder problem.
Is this something I can do or should I pony up the service call fee to just get an estimate of the fix ?
Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Remove the toe panel and check if the wash (circulation) pump makes any noise while the dishwasher in wash cycle. If it makes kind of a humming noise, then the pump got stuck. You can try to fix the pump using the pump repair kit or replace the whole new pump and motor assembly. - The pump repair kit Part number: AP2802376
