My Amana refrigerator's door gasket start to crack. It looks like I need to change it.

I found the part no from the website:

AP4001070
AP4001071

The question is how do you change it?

So the door has to be taken off from the hinges? Or can I do it while it is on?

It's better to take it off and place it on a flat surface. It'll prevent the door from twisting.
