How long is refrigerator running since the repairmen checked it?
Put the rear cover and the back panel in the freezer back in place and do not touch anything for at least 24 hrs. Then check the evaporator coil and post your findings.

Need a good model # to help. Also, put a thermometer near the back wall of the freezer. Temperature should be between zero and ten degrees. If not you have system problems or a defrost problem.

Most likely the sealed (cooling system) is low on Freon. Also possible damage to the compressor. The cost of repair could be somewhere between $350 to $750 and it has to be done by a certified technician. Your decision should be based on the condition of the fridge.
