Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 12/23/2009(UTC) Posts: 3		The chopper blade filter gets clogged about every two weeks with grey fibers and food particles. I can't figure out where the fibers are coming from, I think they are more the problem than the food particles. What can I do about this? thanks mickit

If there is no air gap, then possible back up from the garbage disposer. Gene.

Ok, Thanks I will try that, right now the drain hose is coming through the cabinet wall at a low access hole , I'll move the hose to the higher hole in the cabinet. although, I thought these hoses have a oneway valve, so back up wouldn't be able to go through.
