I turn on the oven and I can hear it come on and light, it starts to heat up, then stops heating, all controls are still on, like it's still heating and the temp shows and the ON is on for the oven.. then I smell gas.. sometimes it works, sometimes it does't. Just had the broiler ignitor replaced and that works fine now. Could this be a dirty or bad burner and not the oven ignitor, is the broiler and oven ignitor the same part for this oven? Christmas is 2 days away!! :(

Sounds like the Bake igniter has gone bad, especially if it takes more than 70 seconds to light the burner. Both Broil and Bake igniters are identical.

- The oven igniter Part number: AP3008600
