Hi, I recently replaced the water inlet valve 2206123 because the icemaker wasn't getting water, and no the inlet wasn'frozen. Installed the new inlet valve and now when i press the indoor water lever water flows into the ice maker, which overflows if I don't stop. so I've solved the water to the icemaker but not in a good way, where should I look next? By the way the electrical connections are different sized prongs, so they only fit the color coded plugs, thank you.

Disconnect both water lines from the new water inlet valve and watch as someone tries the water dispenser. Does water come out both outlets? If so, the new water valve is bad or both solenoids are getting power when one of them does. Check around with an ohm meter and see if there is any continuity from the plugs from ice maker side to dispenser side.
If the water just came out from one valve then you'll have to modify the wiring plugs so it will work correctly.
