We have just replaced the cylinder roller, glide and felt pad, and brackets. Once everything was put back together now we are getting a gas smell while the dryer is operating. No smell at all when it is off. Any ideas???

because the smell is only happening when the dryer is running i would definitely make sure the vent hose is still connected to the back of the dryer, it may have gotten bumped loose. i wouldnt suspect the connector hose that feeds the gas to the dryer but it probably wouldnt hurt to take some dish soap and mix it up with a little water and apply the bubbles to the hose connections just to make sure the gas hose isnt leaking.
