I did a search and didn't come up with anything that is really helpful. found a few maybe's but want some advice before I tear this thing apart.

Got home today and wife says washer is messed up. Seems it won't drain or spin.

After checking it out, noticed it was on delicate low/low with a large load in, swiched it over to normal and still got the same problem..

will work fine, fill, agitate, till it gets to the rinse mode, timer will move to rinse cycle can hear gears clunk, or clank what ever you want to call it. then there will be a buzz from the timer area and nothing. Tub will not move water will not drain. Wife just informed me there was a "slight burn oder" like a vacume cleaner blowing a belt but not as strong.

I emptied the washer of cloths and still nothing..

Any info would be great before I start tearing this thing apart piece by piece.

Thanks a bunch.

having some similiar problems with my duet washer. saw some posts on some other sites were people where having success with reseting the control panel by simply unpluging the unit for at least 10 min to reset computer. do recognize your model but if it is a front loader try to also take the soap and softner tray out and there is a door/switch in the back of the cavity that they where moving back and forth that helped some. the other posts i have seen so far on front loader is to take the front bottom panel off and clean out the filter and drain on pump. other than that check belts and motor that is about it to any washer.

fixed my duet. remove the 3 screws on bottom of bottom front panel. remove panel. pump is right in front of you. unscrew the pump filter and clean, look in cavity. i found a sock in drain tube.

Well I replaced the lid switch and I'm still getting the same problem.

once the washer gets to the drain and spin cycle you hear a click of the gears and then nothing but a slight buzz from the timmer.

Anyone have any ideas???

Thanks
