Stopped in Mid-Cycle and will not come on - Motor not stuck

In mid cycle or almost in the rinse cycle the dishwasher just stopped. The bottom had water in it. I scooped the water out and took the rubber hose off the bottom to access the motor thinking the motor was "stuck". It was just as free as I was before the past couple Presidents were elected. Now it is like there is NO POWER except I checked it with my meter and it is there. I checked the little fuse link the melts if it gets too hot, I checked the door latch for a connection and I dont know what else to check. Please give me some ideas before my wife puts u-know-what in a jar on the night stand. Thanks so much and Happy Holidays to everyone.

Have you found the problem? My dish washer did the same thing last week. I did the same trouble shooting you did, but can't come up with a solution. Any help would be appreciated.

The only thing I could do to fix the problem after going two weeks without a reply was to buy a new one. Then as if that was not enough, the day after I bought a new one I saw that same one on sale for $60 less. Whoops.
