Recently my Whirlpool Gold Quiet Partner iv dishwasher has started slowly filling with water between uses.
The water is coming in as a very slow trickle from the circular opening on the lower left wall. We use the drain button whenever we see that water has accumulated in the bottom -- otherwise it eventually overflows and leaks out.
Any ideas?

We have a KitchenAid model # KUDS01DJ with the same problem. How can we test the inlet valve to confirm that it is broken? Also, assuming that is the problem, do you know where can we get the replacement part? Thanks

You can look up the part here on this site and order it.. If you empty dishwasher in the evening and in the morning there is water in it then valve is sticking open .. if you fill the sink the dishwasher drain to and release the water and find water in the machine then the checkvalve is bad
