My dryer wouldn't turn on one morning after I had to manually turn off the timer, which was endlessly buzzing. We took apart the dryer and decided to replace the rotary start switch (after checking breakers first and seeing interior light was still working). It worked for two test tries right after we put in the switch, then it wouldn't go on again. Sigh. Should we try the thermal fuse/safety thermostat next?
