So this weekend, the fridge began making a loud noise at random times. By Monday, the noise had stopped, but the refrigerator portion of the unit was completely warm. The freezer is fine. There isn't any air blowing into the refrigerator portion of the unit, so I believe that the evap fan has the issue.

The trouble I am having is determining the location of the evaporator fan and frankly getting to it without destroying the largely plastic panels on the inside of the refrigerator/freezer that are keeping me from getting back there. I tried looking at the parts diagram for insights, but would really appreciate some tips in removing the panels in the fridge to get to the evap fan for this particular model. The freezer on bottom config probably isn't helping me out here.

It is a GE GDS18SBPBLSS

Thanks in advance.
