I followed the instructions posted by "gfroman "and my dishwasher started working. Thank you for taking the time to educate others.

This more or less worked for me. It seems that the panel reset is different for different models -- on mine it was Hi Temp Scour and Air Dry alternately until the panel lit up, then Normal to start the wash.
