We had a power outage last week and when the power was restored the microwave would not heat. Control panel works, table turns, the microwave hums as always, but does not cook. I have tried killing the power with no help. Could the power outage have had an effect? I don't see where the door switch would be a factor. Any ideas?

Thanks,

I have the same symptoms. Mine is also hot near the magnatron tube opening. I wish someone would reply to you with an answer.
