Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 12/12/2009(UTC) Posts: 2		Someone PLEASE help:confused: --My Maytag dishwasher is only about 16 months old and for the past month the touch pad works only when it wants to. My start button when pushed does nothing. All the other buttons work when touched but the Start button is the main control to run it weather it be on delay wash or instant. Since the rest of the button work, is there a simple repair for this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks....Dawn

Make sure there's no power going to the machine, before you begin, by turning it off at the breaker. If the switch checks out OK, then you can suspect a problem with the touchpad.
