My washer won't aggitate or spin water loads in and drainds. While in the wash and spin cycle I hear this clicking like it wants to.engage, but it won't.I tried unplugging for 20 to 30 seconds then plugging it back, changing the cycle once I unplug, still not working. I don't want to throw money at this or that I would like to be on the money n terms of diagnosing the problem. Please help

First check the fuse, per this site.

HydroWave GE Washer Repair Guide

Your machine has a built in diagnostic device on the motor. Observe the flashing light and the site I cited will tell you how to interpret it. It is likely the mode shifter, and I do not think it is economical to replace it. Before doing anything, however, reset the machine using the instructions in the above post. Sometimes this will cure things.
