Have a Kenmore front load washer that will not advance during cycle. Would like to verify that this could be the timer before I order the part.
Also would like some help on removing the front cover on this particular model to access the timer.

This service manual will show you how to open it up.

Your problem can be the timer or the speed control board, and you need to test to see if voltage is getting to the board. The manual will tell you how to to that, and when you find out which one is defective you can replace it. When you are doing the testing, check the wiring and the connections and clean the connections and retry before you order any parts.
