Have a Whirlpool gas dryer, GGW9250PW0. Hit start button and motor just humms, drum doesn't spin.
When I open door and hold in the door switch and hit on button, then give drum push to start, then it runs.
Read somewhere it might be motor start capacitor, but can't find it on parts list for this model?
Or maybe it's a different cause?
My wife doesn't like wet clothes. I suggested it works just fine if she stands there holding the door switch button in after pushing drum. Just have to play goalie so clothes don't fall out. Wife wants to put me in dryer. Please help!!!

Is there a diagnostic feature on this model?
