I have a White Westinghouse dryer that has been making strange orangish brown possible burn marks on my clothes. It does not put holes in the clothes, but I think it is getting caught just inside of the door as it is drying. I have noticed my dryer sheets being stuck up there after the clothes are finished which is making the same marks. Any advice would be great!

I had the same problem several years ago and had the repair guy out. He put in a part that looked like a strip of felt.

Now the dryer is catching clothes on the side of the drum and causing brown marks similar to burn marks.

I was thinking of replacing the part myself but wondered if it is something that's pretty easy to accomplish for the DoItYourselfer.

Anyone ever replaced the Felt Glide Assembly or the Seal for the lower basket on a Frigidaire Gallery (or any other dryer) before?

Thanks in advance for your answers.
