Fridge doesn't stay closed---could it be anything other than magnetic gasket?

6-year-old side-by-side fridge doesn't stay securely closed on fridge side. The magnetic "pull" of the gasket is super-weak. I inspected the gasket--I don't see any cracks or irregularities; it still looks brand new. Just to get out of the way-- there is nothing obstructing the door and the surfaces of the gasket and the metal frame of the fridge are clean. Could this be anything other than the gasket?

to add one thing---
Could the hinge be slightly loose and cause the door not to "spring closed"?

Here are your parts Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL KSRS25ILSS03 Refrigerator | AppliancePartsPros.comCheck the door cams Item 26 in Section 1 and Item 10 in Section 10. The door rides on the cams so that it is on a down slope of the cams when closed holding it shut. Check that the gasket is not catching on the hinge side of the door. A light coat of vaseline/ white grease on the frame here will prevent this. |
