I no longer have power to the control panel an longer since the lights don't light up! The NORMAL light was the only wash cycle light that worked for the past few years but now it no longer lights up or works. I measured 120 volts to the door handle input and output and jumped out the thermal switch to see if that would make the lights go on but it doesn't. I purchased a new circuit board from your site (3 days shipping! WOW) and unfortunately, still nothing. Now I don't know what the next step would be to try to fix it..There is a white/purple strip wire that may lead to something inder the unit but I'm starting to think I'm chasing my tail! Any suggstions would be really great. I can't locate my electical schematic either which doesn't make this any easier!! thanks!!

Most likely the cause of the problem is a bad control panel.

- The part number for the control panel (white) is AP3044320

- The part number for the control panel (black) is AP3136031

- The part number for the control panel (almond) is AP3044801

Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool dishwasher Model GU980SCGB0
