I have had my refrigerator since 1999, This is the first time it has given me any trouble. This morning I noticed the frig was warm the temp. is 54 now. The freezer side is working, and the lights on bothsides are working. Is it time for a new one or is it fixable? Thanks:o

I have the same problem. The freezer is working ok, and but my frigerator is to warm. I have noticed that the normal "click click" them humm isn't there either. I know I hear the small fan working, but the louder humm has disapreared. I got mine in 2000. We have no frost on our coils either. I read a few of these and learned to look for it. Is yours a Kenmore?

take the freezer back wall off and ohm check the heater at the bottom if it reads open bad heater also some models of GE Ref have a heater recall on them, check GEappliance website for your model number
