Hi Cnauck,
In order to provide most accurate advise we need the complete model number of the unit. The model number you posted does not come up. Verify and repost it, please.

I checked the side of the oven door and came up with the following: RMC275PDQ1 Serial# XF4301009 Manf Date- October 1996
This is a combo unit with the microwave on top.
Thanks for getting back to me on the initial posting
Craig:)

Hi Craig,
What did it show on the display when you pushed the start?
Did it count down?

No matter what mode you try to input, IE defrost, time cook, etc. When you push the start button, all you get is a rapid beeping sound.
One other thing that is different, the interior light in the top of the box does not light up when you open the door.

Hi Gene,
I spoke to my daughter who was using the micro at the time it died. She had it on "warm hold" and it just quit working. Similar to a power loss.
You can push the "warm hold" and some of the other buttons on the touch pad that don't require futher input and 3 rapid beeps are heard.
That's the best I can come up with. I also tried a full power off to the unit hoping that it might resolve the matter with a "cold boot". No change.
Happy Easter.
Craig

Hi Craig,
The first thing I would check are the door switches and the fuses.
In order to access the door switches and the internal fuse you have to pull the microwave out and this is not easy.
Probably it's better to let a professional to fix it for you.
Gene.
