My dryer is warm but not hot,timer will not advance on auto dry but does on timed dry, is a new heat element needed ? I checked breakers both are on. I disconnected the vent and tried that to see if there is obstruction but no change......thoughts ?

Here are your parts Drum replacement parts for GE DBXR453ET0WW | AppliancePartsPros.comLooks like this unit is a dual element heater so one element may be burned out. Only way to tell is open the unit up and inspect it or check them with a meter. Note GE likes to keep their tech info a secret so finding wiring info on the net about this specific model is nigh onto impossible. You may want to look in the control console as they like to put the diagrams in therer.
