I have a ge top loading washer that stops in the middle of the wash and rinse cycles. It will work fine for a minute then stops until I advance the timer then it will work fine for a couple minutes and do the same. It only seems to be happening in the wash and rinse cycles.
I replased the timer with new O.E.M. but still have the same problem. any sggestions would be appriciated.

Try to bypass the lid switch and see how it'll work.

Thanks Gene . I did try that with no success. I'm just wondering if the relay on the P.C.B. would have anything to do with it. If I cycle power it will work again.
