Dryer was functioning but squealing. Replaced top bearing, slide drum, felt, bearing kit and belt drive. Now when dryer starts is cuts off in about 2 minutes or less. Will restart and do the same thing after a few minutes. This occurs when set at air fluff or low heat. Any ideas?

If you cannot restart it right after it shuts off, it sounds like the motor is overheating and tripping it's internal thermal protect.

Rotate the drum by hand. It should rotate fairly easily. If not it may be overloading the motor.

Open it up and check it. Could be you reinstalled something not quite correctly.

If it rotates OK then odds are high that your motor is toast.

Thanks for the information, The repair man showed up with a new motor. I showed him that the drum was not rotating at all even when not running.
The new upper plastic front seal did not secure in the door panel.
Thanks for saving me from replacing a functional motor!
