Duet Dryer-Works on timed dry, shuts off early otherwise

We own a ~4 year old Duet dryer - if I try to run a drying cycle, it will shut down after ~20 minutes. I am able to completely dry a load by utilizing the "timed cycle" feature - it will complete the full time.
I took the front panel off, cleaned out any lint there (wasn't much), and cleaned out the exhaust tube as well as replaced the hose going to the outside.
My only guess is that maybe the "dampness detector" is faulty.
Thanks for any help
