Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 11/18/2009(UTC) Posts: 1		I have a maytag electric dryer that will not start, the light and control board comes on but the dryer will not run. I have had the thermistor and thermostat checked and was told that they were working also the error code is (b5) heater temperature control problem. Please help!

Here is the service manual. http://www.servicematters.com/m...ibrary/docs/16025911.pdf There are a lot of electronics in this model so you are going to have to do a thorough job of testing, and you should not take the statement that your thermistor was ok at face value, check it again.
