I'm stuck fixing my dishwasher. It starts and runs through early cycles but gets stuck on the Water Heating cycle, at 36 minutes remaining. Thinking it wasn't getting hot enough, I replaced the heating element and accompanying control panel and fuse. I also replaced the thermister. Does anyone have any idea what else could be wrong? Would a failed soil sensor cause it to get stuck in Water Heating mode? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here are your parts Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL KUDS01DJSB0 | AppliancePartsPros.comHere is the tech sheet http://www.servicematters.com/d...0Sheet%20-%208269519.pdf Does anyone have any idea what else could be wrong? Could be you received a part that was defective out of the box. I would check them with a meter. Also check the wiring from the control to under the unit. It is getting past the early water heating modes but this may be because of the cycle type you are using or that the water entering the machine is hot enough that it does not require heating to reach the set point. Would a failed soil sensor cause it to get stuck in Water Heating mode? I do not think so but am not 100% sure. Try different cycle types to see if perhaps one of them will complete and may help you figure out which option is not on in that cycle type and therefore point to the problem component. Try to run the diagnostics. |
