Both of my window units are spitting water out the front of the appliance. They were purchased at the same time. Both GE's.

Being they are less then a year old they should be under warranty.
I would check with the dealer on getting them fixed under warranty before trying to repair them yourself.

The should hang down a liitle out of window to let the condensate drain. If the units are level, let them hang down in back

If it is spitting water water out the front grill the holes for condensate to drain maybe clogged with dirt, you need to tilt the back of the window unit down a little so condensate will drain out.
