The washer intermitantly leaves the cloths wet when complete. If you the rinse cylce again it usually rings it out. But when it failed recently, I ran the rinse cycle a second time you can hear water in the washer, but it wont pump it out. I ran some water into the tub and it pumped it out, but it sounds like it leaves some water in the tub. You can not see the water. Recently, The washer smelled really bad and I had to replace the love joy connector and found that the inside the tub had molded. We washed the tub out with bleach and soaked it. It seams to smell better for the last 2 weeks, but I don't know if that is related to the tub not rinsing out completly.

If the spin basket spins up to speed with an empty basket, you have a bad clutch and maybe dragging brake shoes. Pull pump and motor and turn the tranny coupler clockwise till the basket just starts turning. If hard to turn the coupler, you have dragging brake shoes. Post results.
