Hey all, here's my situation -- whenever the washer starts into the rinse cycle, it will start up and then suddenly cut off. the timer runs through to the end, but nothing more seems to be happening. i've tried a couple of times, and at least once or twice i could hear a faint humming as it attempted to go into the rinse cycle.
i'm having difficulty even diagnosing the problem as i'm unable to figure out how to actually get the back of the machine off (i've never needed to fix it before and this is the only stacked machine i've ever owned). there appear to be some sort of plastic snap in pieces, but when i try to pull then out or unscrew them the plastic just twists up.
thanks for any help, john

Hi John

You get into this model from the front. When you do, check for something blocking the pump or drain hoses or caught in the basket/tub.

Here is the service manual, which is a very good one with lots of explanations and good photos.
