Hello!
We recently purchased a home that has a Thermador 30" Free-Standing Range (Model RDF30Q) installed in it.
Until yesterday, all was well with the range.
However, last night, a fan located somewhere in the oven has turned on - this unit does have a convection oven but it is not that fan as we turned the oven on in the "convection" mode and can hear that fan turn on and off... this has more of a range hood fan sound to it. We have looked through the owners manual that was left for it but cannot find anything in it in regards to this issue.
I just turned the breaker off to the oven last night but when I turn it back on today, the fan turns on again...
I have looked for a switch for this in the obvious places/pressed cancel on the controls - still no luck in turning this off... any suggestions?
Thanks! SpaceAce

SpaceAce The wiring diagram for the range with the model number you provided does not show any other fan but the convection. If you have the wiring diagram which came with the range and you can post it, it will help a lot. You can find it if you pull out the bottom drawer, somewhere on the frame. Also I need the complete serial number of your range. - Here are the break down diagrams for the Thermador range Model RDF30QB S/N 9708 & UP Gene.
