I didn't hear the water curring on to fill the tray so I replaced the whole water inlet valve assembly which I have done before but replacing only the valve. After trimming some of the foam tape stuff off so it would fit through the hole, turned it on and heard the water cut on. Hours later, no ice. Pushed reset button and no ice. Felt and there was no water in the tray. Turned off and back on and reset. Still no ice or water. Temp is set at -4 and everything is frozen. No ice build-up anywhere in the freezer. The water was routinely cutting on but no water. No water on floor. What else could it be? Should I try to defrost the freezer and if so, how can you turn off just the freezer or will just raising it to the highest temp be enough?
