I have a Whirlpool top fridge bottom freezer unit. A couple of strange things have been occuring with the Freezer lately. First thing is one day I came home to water all over the floor from the ice maker I assume running. Final issue is since then, the freezer is frosting everything in it heavily.

What could it be? What to check for? Thanks for any help!

Thank you for your question. It is likely that the defrost drain tube is clogged and causing the water and ice to accumulate like it is. Clearing the ice and the clogged defrost drain tube would be recommended.
