Hello, I would be grateful for any help with this issue:

My Frigidaire oven heats but there is a strong smell of gas. The igniter and burner light just fine, and I tested the safety valve for continuity and it works, so not sure what the issue is.

I notice the air shutter on the baking arm is open pretty wide but I don't think I've ever changed it so I'm not sure if that is relevant.

Thank you!

Does the oven burner have yellow flames when it is lit, and is the gas smell there if the oven has been off for a bit? Also, if the model number of your appliance could be provided, it will allow the most accurate information to be presented.
