The belt broke on my Maytag PYE3300AYW and I replaced it. The dryer ran afterward, but had more vibration than previously. So I bought a new set of wheels/spindles/washers for the rear support and installed them. Now I can't get the drum to seat -- the wheels won't go in the groove. Are there any tricks to this model? The online videos for similar dryers, the drum just sits right back in place. The seal is not bunched or folded.

The new wheels came with four fiber washers. I put one behind the wheel and one between the wheel and the circlip. The old wheels had plastic washers, thinner, two behind and one under the E-clip.

Update: it turns out the drum doesn't fit if you are trying to put it in backwards. I should have paid more attention to where the belt is supposed to lay! I turned it around and it went right in.
