Our GE Profile refrigerator stopped refrigerating last week.
I noticed that the frozen food in the freezer had thawed out.
Temps in both compartments slowly but steadily climbed as time passed.

The evaporator fan didn't seem to be running, and the "Repair Help" information here seemed to concur that that was a likely cause, so I ordered a new evaporator fan and freezer temperature sensor (just to cover that possibility), and replaced them this past Saturday (March 23).

Note: We have the lower freezer drawer unit. The evaporator coils were ice free when I did the repair, although the unit had been steadily climbing heat-wise and with no evap fan running, it's entirely possible any ice buildup might have melted away. There was no massive ice buildup on the back wall at any point though.

After I did the repair and plugged it back it in, all seemed well. Temps dropped steadily overnight. Temps were around 0 (freezer) and 35 (refrigerator). Great! Looking good!

Then very late Sunday night/Monday morning freezer temps started climbing for no apparent reason. I just assumed it was a defrost cycle or something. 12...17...20 - all the way to 35 degrees. Too high to be defrost cycle. Can't have food constantly thawing and freezing.

But by Monday morning, temps were back to (-1 to ~4) freezer; 34/35/36 refrigerator. So all good. Maybe it was just a hiccup?

Evaporator fan has been running most if not all of this time. I can't tell about condenser fan in the back as unit is in an alcove in the wall, so very hard to say about that.

Any suggestions as to what the issue might be now given that I've replaced the above two "most likely" items?
