I unbonded the EGC and neutral and replaced the 10-30 plug with a 14-50 upon getting this unit used. Any time I use anything from the select knob, less bake, the GFCI breaker trips. If I remove the braided yellow wire from the chasis at rear of unit the unit won't trip the breaker. Wire in question, https://www.jennairrepla...re-Harness/702643/692183I have a wire diagram but can't find anything but the timer and blower fan going to the EGC. I exposed the insulation behind the unit to find the wire likely bonded to something behind the bottom oven elements but I cannot remove the element as the screw doesn't want to thread out, even after trying to pry while unscrewing. I am trying other things to see what else, if anything, reproduces this issue but nothing so far. Wire diagrams here https://drive.google.com...ns6Bpb/view?usp=drivesdkhttps://drive.google.com...AijThS/view?usp=drivesdkUpdates: Tested some things. With yellow ground wire disconnected I switched to things which would trip the breaker, then moved the yellow wire to the grounded screw and it wouldn't trip the breaker. Moving the wire to neutral would trip the breaker. My current guess is one of the switches upon actuation bonds neutral and ground momentarily but not after actuated or closed. Update: Just had a standard stove top heating element trip the breaker after running for about 10 minutes. Tested and found continuity between all elements and the frame but can't find if that is normal. Update2: Disconnected neutral and ran only they element that tripped the breaker last time. Ran on 9 for a good 6 minutes then switched to high and it ran about 4 minutes and tripped the breaker :/ ground was still connected so this likely means there is a ground fault somewhere in the unit. Update 3: Tested another gfci breaker i had and it seemed fine till I turned the knob off then hi again. After that I could reproduce the issue 90% of the time. It seems likely all of the knobs that have a push-in-to-move aspect to them will trip the gfci if the knob isn't pushed in all the way then turned, that is if you partially push the knob in and turn it will trip then gfci.
