Hello. Based on the YouTube video I purchased the valve quad water assembly WH13X26637. I successfully removed the old one and installed the new valve. I hooked up the hot water line first, 10 minutes, no leaking, then attached the cold line. After approximately 10 minutes it began to drip. It is not plugged into power. Facing the controls it drips from the far left side. A steady drip, one drop every 3 seconds. I’m stumped. I was sure the new valve would fix the issue. The washer is a GE model GTW680BSJ5WS. Thanks for any help. John

Well, I’m totally perplexed. About an hour after posting, the drip has stopped. I was collecting the water and about 1/2 cup dripped. We’ll do a load of wash in the morning.

There might have been a small piece of dirt or debris get thru the inlet screen where the hose is attached and get under the seat of the valve. After some time and water flow it might have washed it out. I presume there are screens in the inlet water hose connections. If not there should be. If it comes back again as a problem you might try switching the hose connections for the supply from hot to cold and try that. Did you use new washers in the hose connectors ?

Frustrating After four loads of wash, it is still dripping. I removed the detergent tray placing a measuring cup to catch the drip. The water drips from the far left side. The softener tray side. Overnight (12 hours) 20 ounces has leaked. One large drip every 30 seconds. I did use new washers for both inlet hoses. There are screens on the new quad valve.

Had a good chat with Wende this morning. Ran a few tests. House main turned off, no leak. Hot water only, no leak. Cold water only, leaks. After speaking with Sally (customer service) I’m being sent another replacement valve. AppliancePartsPro has been very helpful.
