Hi any help please, don't know if there is a fix or if the ice maker needs replacing now to work again:
A Heavy Bag accidentally placed on ice maker arm, trapping it down. Water started to flood out from the ice maker and out the freezer door before we noticed. Bag removed, ice maker Arm released and seems fine and still clicks up and moves plastic piece it attaches to inside the controller. BUT the Controller(timer) box seems dead and no ice production and ice trays are dry.
What can we do?
Ice Maker is about 2 years old, Model: W10365049 Whirlpool Ice Maker.
Simple top freezer, bottom frig unit.
Thank you for your time
