I have had this dishwasher since 2018 and it worked great until an inlet hose leak flooded the room. Dishwasher sat for several months while floor and damage were replaced. When it was reinstalled, we had to have the entire motor replaced because it wasn't working properly. Kitchenaid covered that.

Since then, we have had problems with food particles (sesame seeds from rolls or hot pepper seeds mostly, but a sticker from a piece of fruit and other stuff has been in there) getting caught in the spray arms, both upper and lower.

I have cleaned them out - not an easy task - but they keep coming back. I have to spray all dirt off before washing. I have cleaned out the filters - which get a film on them - to no avail.

I don't want to pay $125 service fee plus any other fees for Kitchenaid to come out if I can fix it DIY - and at this point, I am ready to dump it and put that $125 towards a new dishwasher. It should be working correctly after only 5 years.

Hoping there is an easy answer. Thanks.
