About a month ago my three year old LG WM8100HVA washer started randomly turn on. The panel and drum lights would be on, I would turn the machine off and less than 30 seconds later the machine would turn back on. The drum light would turn off after it timed out like normal but the panel lights wouldn't turn off like they used to. This went on for about 2 weeks. I went to go start a load and realized that there was no power to the laundry room. The circuit breaker had been popped and it wouldn't reset until I unplugged it. When I plugged the machine in, the breaker popped instantly. Multiple outlets on different circuits, with and without power strips, all with the same results. Checked the outlets with a Klein outlet tester and it indicates that everything is wired appropriately.

The repair men did all the same with the same results. Next was replacing the mother and filter boards. This also didn't work. Next they tried doing something with the wiring harness and this also didn't work. They called LG and they were less than helpful.

Anyone have any idea what could be going on with this machine?
