Hi everyone, I purchased a new stove and unfortunately it doesn't heat as well as the older one. On the older stove I could get the temperature to around the low 700's. I would put the pizza steel on the high rack, preheat the oven at 500 maximum and then alternate between the broiler (550 maximum) and bake settings and I could make at least 7-8 pizzas within about an hour or so. A few minutes on bake and 2-3 on broil and it was a beautiful pizza. With this new stove if I do the same thing, I can only get the oven as high as the upper 500's maximum. The only difference is that the broil maximum temperature is 500, not 550. I guess the oven doesn't retain heat well. Now its difficult to have a pizza party cause it takes to long for the oven to warm up between pizza's. Is there a way I can put the broiler on high always and never to turn off when turned on? I know leaving the door ajar a bit will have the broiler element always on, but then I lose heat from the over. I need the heat in the oven and a strong broiler always on. Any ideas? Thank you!!!
