I own an older (20 yrs.) Viking dual fuel range. Viking no longer supports this model and parts are only available on the internet.
I had to replace the thermostat about 5 years ago. At that time Viking sent me a replacement that was not the original but it worked.
A few weeks ago the oven quit heating. I checked the continuity of the bake element which regestered 27. Assuming that was ok I decided to change out the 8 position switch. Found one on ebay for a ridiculous price and installed it. No change in the operation. The convection fan does come on when you set the switch to convection so I know there is current flowing, however none of the elements heat.
I am looking for some help in diagnosing the issue and praying that the part needed is available. Any help regarding next steps would be greatly appreciated.
